9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

10. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In Short: If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you and how we have shared it with third parties, and in some instances to request that we delete your personal information.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Services, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request removal of such data, please contact us at hello@soundmindmediaco.com.

11. Use of Client Content in Portfolio

As part of our services, Sound Mind Media Co. may create, capture, or curate content on behalf of clients, including photographs, videos, graphics, copy, and social media posts. By engaging our services, clients grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute such content for portfolio and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This includes use on our website, social media accounts, case studies, and sales materials. We will not disclose sensitive business information or confidential data as part of portfolio use. Clients who wish to opt out of portfolio use must notify us in writing prior to commencement of their project.
